Alhamdulillah! Project 9 has been successfully completed with the generous support of our donors. A total of ~20,000 BDT (~$164) was raised to support a family in extreme hardship, and every Taka is being used with full transparency.
The Situation
This story is about a man who spent his life working as a rice mill driver to support his family of three. Tragically, he passed away, leaving his wife, elderly mother, and young daughter without any source of income. Their lives became extremely difficult, struggling to meet even the most basic needs.
How the Funds Are Being Used
Thanks to the kindness of our donors, the following steps were taken:
- Monthly financial aid: The family will receive support from the raised funds to cover essential living expenses for one year.
- Long-term support: Assistance is being provided to help them start a small business, such as poultry farming, to create sustainable income.
- Ramadan Iftar package: A complete Iftar package was delivered to the family during Ramadan, bringing them nourishment and joy during the holy month.
