Alhamdulillah.
Our Ramadan Food Distribution Project has been successfully completed. On the first day of Ramadan, with the support of generous donors and dedicated volunteers, we were able to deliver essential food and support packages directly to families who needed them the most.
This project was organized with one clear goal:
to help struggling families observe Ramadan with dignity and without the fear of food shortage.
The Purpose
Ramadan is a month of patience, faith, and community. But for many families living in poverty, it can also be a time of deep anxiety. Daily meals, iftar preparation, and basic household necessities become difficult to manage.
Our mission was simple:
Provide essential Ramadan food supplies so families can focus on fasting, worship, and their wellbeing rather than worrying about survival.
What We Delivered

We prepared 15 full Ramadan packages, designed to support a family for most of the month.
Each package included:

• Lentils (Masoor Dal) – 2 kg
• Chickpeas – 2 kg
• Soybean Oil – 3 liters
• Sugar – 3 kg
• Salt – 0.5 kg
• Chira – 1 kg
• Muri – 1 kg
• Bundia – 1 packet
• Spices – Turmeric, Chili, Chicken Masala
• Dates – 1 kg

Clothing Support
Along with food supplies, families also received clothing items.
• Sharee and Lungi for family members
• Total distributed: 11 sharees and 8 lungis
Some remaining clothing items will be distributed to additional beneficiaries shortly.
Small Ramadan Support Packages
In addition to the main packages, we distributed 15 smaller support packages to families with urgent needs.
Each small package included:
• Chickpeas – 1 kg
• Sugar – 1 kg
• Soybean Oil – 1 liter
• Masoor Dal – 1 kg
• Atta / Flour – 2 kg
• Shemai – 1 packet
• Laccha Shemai – 1 packet
These packages were designed to quickly support households struggling to manage basic Ramadan meals.
Distribution Process
The distribution took place on the first day of Ramadan.
Our team woke up early in the morning, loaded all packages into the vehicle, and traveled house to house to deliver them directly to the selected families.
Each household had its own story of struggle.
Some families were elderly couples with no steady income.
Some were widows raising children alone.
Others were families where the primary earner had become too sick to work.
One situation that deeply affected us was a former van driver who now suffers from a serious chronic illness. He can no longer work and cannot afford proper medical treatment. We are planning a separate fundraising effort to help with his treatment.
Moments like these remind us why this work matters.
Many families were surprised by the visit. Some were overwhelmed with emotion and prayed for the donors who made this possible.
Those moments are difficult to describe, but they are the true impact of charity.
Financial Transparency
Transparency is a core principle of We Do Charity.

Privacy & Documentation
While we try to document our work, we also prioritize the dignity of the families we help.
• Some photos and videos were intentionally limited
• We avoided exposing sensitive personal situations
• Distribution updates, photos, and short videos will be shared on our Facebook page and profiles
Our goal is to maintain transparency while protecting the privacy of beneficiaries.

Through this project:
• 30 families received Ramadan food support
• Essential supplies were delivered directly to homes
• Families were able to begin Ramadan without food insecurity
• Clothing support was provided for multiple households
Small actions can make a meaningful difference when done collectively.

Your support allowed us to turn compassion into real action.
Looking Ahead
This project is another reminder that the work is far from over.
There are still families struggling for food, healthcare, and basic dignity. We will continue working, step by step, to support those who need it most.
With honesty.
With transparency.
With responsibility.
