Project Ramadan 2025
The Vision: A Blessed and Joyful Ramadan
During the holy month of Ramadan 2025, We Do Charity launched a multi-phased campaign to support orphans and families facing extreme hardship across Sirajganj and Moulvibazar. We set out to distribute nutritious iftar food packages and new Eid clothes. The response from our SEO community was historic, raising a record total of 204,509 BDT. This allowed us to execute several key sub-projects with absolute transparency.
1. Iftar and Food Packages (Sadaqah)
We raised 40,000 BDT to distribute Iftar food packages to 12 families. Each package cost 980 BDT and contained Dates, Flour, Masoor Lentils, Kheshari Lentils, Chickpeas, Puffed Rice, and Soybean Oil. Due to efficient purchasing, we saved 8,000 BDT, which we redirected to build a sanitary toilet for Tara Banu.
2. Madrasa Eid Packages
We spent 53,409 BDT to provide new white Panjabis and Pajamas for 28 students and 5 teachers (33 total). We purchased 130 gauges of high-quality fabric and hired local tailors. The packages also included Pilaf rice, sugar, oil, vermicelli, soap, shampoo, and perfume. Additionally, we spent 1,300 BDT for a special orphan gift package and 5,500 BDT for a surprise Eid package for an elderly day-laborer father and his deaf-mute son.
