The Challenge: A Harsh Winter and High Targets

As the winter of 2025 set in, the northern areas of Bangladesh, particularly Sirajganj, were hit by extreme temperature drops. For families living in flimsy bamboo and tin huts, the cold was unbearable. We Do Charity launched our most ambitious campaign yet: the Winter Relief Campaign 2025. We set a fundraising goal of 90,000 BDT to distribute complete winter packages to over 200 vulnerable families.

Once again, our SEO donor community responded with massive support, raising a total of 131,263 BDT. This allowed us to significantly scale the project, reaching a total of 246 beneficiaries across Sirajganj and Moulvibazar.

Execution and Bonus Campaigns

Each standard package cost 450 BDT and contained 1 warm blanket, 1 pair of socks, 1 muffler, 1 earcap, and 1 petroleum jelly. In Sirajganj, Ilias Ahmed, Mutasim Billah Mahin, Jihadi Hasan Jion, and Md. Abdul Momin distributed 122 packages. The remaining 28 packages were distributed after December 21 following Ilias's university exams. In Moulvibazar, coordinator Rabbi Miah distributed 50 packages. Using the leftover funds of 10,150 BDT, we launched a bonus phase, purchasing 35 heavy blankets for families in extreme conditions. Additionally, we used 2,500 BDT to help a struggling brother secure a job, creating a sustainable livelihood.
