Project Ramadan 2026

The Vision: Ramadan Aid and Zakat Al Fitr

For the Ramadan 2026 campaign, We Do Charity launched a targeted fundraiser focusing on families in extreme poverty in the Sirajganj region. We raised a total of 85,800 BDT in Zakat and Sadaqah funds. Our goal was to distribute complete, nutritious iftar food packages on the first day of Ramadan, allowing families to fast with peace of mind and dignity.

The distribution was carried out on Day 1 of Ramadan by Ilias Ahmed, Mutasim Billah Mahin, and our volunteer team, who fasted while delivering packages door-to-door in rural Sirajganj.

Detailed Package Delivery

We designed two types of food packages to match family sizes and needs:

  • 15 Big Packages (3,350 BDT each): Atta 5kg, Lentils 2kg, Chickpeas 2kg, Soybean Oil 3L, Sugar 3kg, Salt 0.5kg, Chira 1kg, Muri 1kg, Bundia, Spices, Dates 1kg, Vermicelli, Polau Rice, Saline, Soap, and traditional Sharees or Lungis.
  • 15 Mini Packages (770 BDT each): Chickpeas 1kg, Sugar 1kg, Soybean Oil 1L, Masoor Dal 1kg, Atta 2kg, and Vermicelli.
The total cost of shopping was 50,260 BDT. The remaining 27,840 BDT was redirected to support the Project 9: Mill Driver Family and provide daily living support for a local van-puller who is unable to work.

A: It was allocated to fund ongoing monthly food support for the deceased Mill Driver's family and essential daily needs support for a local van-puller.

Q: How does this project link to other Ramadan campaigns?

A: It is semantically connected to our previous large-scale campaign, Project 10: Project Ramadan 2025.
